Yao Antique chair 16th-19th century

It is a chair made by the men of the hill tribe in northern Thailand.
When I traveled to visit the tea forests around Laos, I met them in a small village where the minority Yao people live.

The seat is covered with cowhide on the wisteria bone legs.
There is still a lot of hair left on the cowhide. With use, the hair will disappear.

It has a very atmospheric atmosphere, so it is recommended to use it as a flower stand or incorporate a tea ceremony.
