With a low center of gravity, it has the solid, weighty presence characteristic of early Buncheong bottles.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe vessel’s surface is coated with white slip, over which fish, floral motifs, and concentric lines are depicted. The fish are large and simply rendered, their heads, scales, and dorsal fins indicated with concise strokes. The decoration runs around the body, and as the viewing angle changes the fish and floral motifs appear alternately.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe white-slip surface ranges from ashy white to a faint reddish tint, with the body clay showing through in places. The incised lines are not overly strong, remaining slightly blurred and imparting the soft, powder-blue quality characteristic of Buncheong. Encircling lines on the neck and lower body serve to tighten and define the rounded form.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is a slight warp from firing. Abrasion, glaze loss, and soiling are visible around the rim and foot, but there is no significant damage, and the overall condition is good.
