Hajiki pottery Yayoi-Kofun/300BCE-581CE

In ancient times, earthenware continued to be made in stylized forms, such as jars, jars, and coffins, depending on the intended use. It started from the Yayoi period, when rice farming was introduced and established through paddy cultivation, and lasted for about 1,000 years until the Heian period.

This product is a small pot that can be seen from the Yayoi period to the Kofun period, and was made as a container for liquids and powders.
Originally, it had a short neck, but it became frayed over the years and took on the shape it has today. It has a pleasing appearance that invites wildflowers.

When water is added, the water permeates the entire pottery and turns it black. How about a summer flower arrangement?
