This exquisite wooden stand, dating from the Meiji period (1868–1912), is designed for serving sencha (green tea). Its surface bears delightful impressions from tools such as axes and knives, which enhance its unique character and allure.
Although the legs exhibit a slight looseness, the stand maintains stability when set down, and thus has been preserved in its current state.
Consequently, we are pleased to offer it at a reduced price. For additional context, please refer to the accompanying photographs featuring tea utensils.
