This is a polychrome figure of a court lady from the Tang Dynasty. As an excavation piece, the surface decoration has suffered some loss, revealing portions of the unglazed body at the crown; however, it retains an enchanting presence. The previous collector has sanded the base to enhance its stability for display, ensuring a secure and balanced posture.
