Gray pottery vase, Han Dynasty period/206BCE-220CE

Sale price$526.00 AUD

In contrast to colored pottery, which is painted with patterns before firing, this pot is patterned after firing. Flowers and abstract patterns are drawn on the earthenware with paints such as red and white. Earthenware with replicas of metalware and lacquerware was often buried in graves during the Warring States period in northern China. This item is a bottle-shaped pot about 25 cm high and is in good condition. How about a collection?
