The Xiajiadian Lower Culture was a culture that existed in what is now northeastern China from 2000 BC to 1500 BC, from the north bank of the Shilamuren River in the eastern Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to Zhangjiakou in the northwest, and from northern Hebei Province to western Liaoning Province in the southeast. Life was centered on millet cultivation, and many large settlements have been discovered, including stone tools, bone tools, and red porcelain. This is a typical long-necked jar. It has a wonderful appearance, as if it has risen directly from the earth. It would make a great addition to your collection.
