This is a Buddhist flower vase from the Ko-Seto tradition, dating back to the Kamakura Period (1185–1333 CE). The elongated neck features a fixed ring handle, while the rounded body is adorned with a stamped floral design. Its rich ash glaze embodies the allure of ancient Ko-Seto ceramics. Please note that the rim and part of the foot have been restored.

We invite you to prepare bamboo drop-in arrangements and enjoy daily flowers or those for tea ceremonies. The rustic charm of the clay, shaped by the passage of time, along with the rich nuances of the ash glaze, beautifully evokes the essence of wildflowers.
