This is an antique Ko-Echizen jar from the late Muromachi to the Edo period. The surface of the vessel, adorned with natural ash glaze, reveals a variety of captivating landscapes depending on the angle of light. It would make a splendid addition for displaying branches in a tea ceremony setting.
