厚手の上質な木材を用いた重厚な造りで、正面には鉄環を備えた格子戸を配しています。天板や框は太く、脚部には浅い彫り筋が施され、簡素ながら力強い意匠を示しています。歪みなどもなく、状態も非常に良好です。木肌は長年の使用により黒褐色に潤み、じっとりとした木味を湛えています。李朝期の家具らしい質実剛健な趣です。書斎などで書案としてお使いいただくのも良いですが、古物を引き立てる展示台や花台としても格好の一具です。
