Dutch Antique Delft Alvarero jar 16th-19th century

White Delft of the Age of Discovery. It was originally made as an ointment container, but in Japan it has been prized as a tea utensil such as a sake cup and a water jar for tea ceremonies since the Edo period. The soft porcelain has a universal beauty, with soft skin that looks like it has been sprinkled with yoghurt, smooth handling, and a richly nuanced expression that casts shadows.

I filled it with water for about an hour, but there was no leakage. In addition to sake cups, how about using it as a small flower container? Alvarello type.
