Dutch Antique Delft jar 16th-19th century

White Delft was made to be used as an ointment container, but the soft ceramic has a universal beauty with a soft skin that looks like yogurt, and a richly nuanced expression.

This is an old 18th century Delft sake cup. A fascinating white glaze with a slight bluish tinge. I filled it with water for about an hour, but there was no leakage. I think it's a size that can be used not only for sake cups but also for flower vases.
