This is a neat Kendi vase from the late Ming period with a unique shape. It is covered entirely in green glaze, and features an oval-shaped body with a slender, straight neck. At the end of the neck is a brim-like opening that opens outward, and a breast-shaped spout is attached to the shoulder. This shape is modeled after water jugs used in Southeast Asia, and belongs to the type of vessel known as "Kendi." Comes with a wooden box.
