Initially, I suspected that this might be an ancient Seto ware modeled after a bronze ceremonial cup, yet I remain uncertain.
When water is applied to the unglazed areas, a scent of aged earth emerges, suggesting its antiquity. However, one wonders from which era and region this piece originates. The soft, flowing ash glaze evokes a sense of floral beauty.
