> Inquire about this or a similar itemThis is a lotus-shaped tea tray from the Azuchi-Momoyama to Edo period (1573–1867 CE). It exhibits a beautiful patina, enriched by years of use, with a subtle sheen from the natural oils of the wood. There are signs of insect damage. The exquisite form, reminiscent of lotus leaves, makes it an excellent choice for serving Chinese tea as well.
