Antique Tokoname Jointed pot Heian-Kamakura/794-1333CE

It is a pot made by inheriting various pottery fragments of Kotokoname from the Heian to Kamakura period. The mouth is spliced from a sutra mound jar, and the body is spliced from a sutra cylinder. However, it has a strong earthy and firey flavor of medieval pottery, and its wildness invites flowers. Please enjoy it as a flower vase by arranging a bonsai pot or a drop.
