Sale priceR$ 2.900,00 BRL

This is an ancient Seto Buddhist flower vase from the Kamakura period. It retains traces of ash glaze in some areas. The vase exhibits a powerful and robust form, as if it were rooted in the ground. According to one theory, it was customary to break the mouth of Seto Buddhist vases, which is why most surviving pieces have damaged or repaired mouths. However, this particular vase retains its original intact mouth, which is noteworthy. It is highly recommended for collectors. A wooden stand is included.
