Ash Glaze Weathered Small Jar

We purchased this small jar quite a long time ago, but unfortunately, I have lost the notes regarding its origin. Since then, I haven't come across similar pieces, so the details remain unknown. It appears to be a Chinese ash glaze jar. The glaze covers the entire bottom surface as well. It is likely that it was not intended to be used as a water dropper with a spoon, although that is just my speculation. The distorted shape of the vessel also resembles wildflowers, making it enjoyable as a flower container for tea ceremonies. It comes with a wooden box and packaging.
