Hollowed-out Sencha Ichimonji Tray, 16th-19th century

This is a very thin Sencha tray with a height of just 0.9cm. The reverse side has alternating carved marks that create a pattern that is very appealing. The edges of the wood have chips and wear from years of use, but they are already rounded, and this is an attractive Sencha tray that exudes the scent of tea. There are no cracks or distortions.
