Yao Antique chair 16th-19th century

Sale price$210.700 CLP

It is a chair made by the men of the hill tribe in northern Thailand.
When I traveled to visit the tea forests around Laos, I met them in a small village where the minority Yao people live.

The seat is covered with cowhide on the wisteria bone legs.
The cowhide still has some hair left on it. With use, the hair will disappear.

It has a very atmospheric atmosphere, so it is recommended to use it as a flower stand or incorporate a tea ceremony.
