Old bamboo basket 19th-20th century

It is an old basket used for carrying stones and transferring harvested products to a backpack, and is called Mekkai.
The age-old bamboo woven meccai is very rare.

It can be hung on a wall, wrapped in vines, or used for flower arranging by hooking a thin bamboo tube.
The weaving is very beautiful and dignified. It's also in very good condition.
