Stone Crown, Jomon Period (10000-300BCE)

A stone crown from the late to late Jomon period (approximately 4,000 to 2,600 years ago). Generally speaking, stone crowns are named because they resemble the shape of a crown. There are various theories about its use, and there is a theory that it was used for rituals related to production and breeding in the Jomon period, and various patterns are engraved on the stone crown. A wave-like pattern is also engraved on the bottom of the stone crown of this item, and the neck has been rejoined. This is a rare stone crown with red coloring throughout.
