球体状に刳り出された木塊です。まず遠目から、目が離せない惹きつける存在感を放っています。
近づくと、繊細な木目、荒々しいねじれ、刻まれた大木の質感が、多様な景色となっています。
作り手が狙って作り出せる世界ではなく、 自然と時間のみが成せるものに、心惹かれるのは私が古物を扱う理由の一つです。
