TEA BOWL, Ash-glazed, set of 10, Khmer Dynasty, Middle Ages(12th–16th centuries)

SOLDOUT

This listing features a set of 10 tea bowls.

These Khmer ash-glazed tea bowls, dating from the 15th to 16th centuries and excavated, exhibit a serene palette.

The color variations among the bowls are diverse, showcasing shades of white, yellow, brown, and blue, each with its own distinct hue.
Each tone possesses a softness reminiscent of egg-shaped forms.

Crackling is present throughout, and with regular use as matcha bowls, they are likely to develop a delightful patina.
The rims are slightly thinly crafted.

We have received a total of 14 bowls, making them splendid choices for use as confectionery dishes or serving bowls.
