This is a fragment of a straight-sided ewer from the Ko-Seto tradition, dating to the Kamakura Period (1185–1333 CE). The rustic charm of the clay, shaped by the passage of time, and the rich nuances of the ash glaze evoke the beauty of wildflowers.
Excavated from a kiln site, it features a bamboo drop handle. Perfect for displaying daily blooms or enhancing the ambiance of a tea gathering.
