This deep bowl, characterized by a slightly flared rim and a cylindrical form, originates from the Jomon Period. The surface is adorned with a single-strand cord pattern, meticulously crafted by rotating a cord around the vessel during its formation. Although the piece has undergone some restoration, it retains its original shape and presents a striking presence, making it a remarkable example of ancient craftsmanship.
