This exquisite pair of incense trays, crafted from karaki wood, dates back to the Qing Dynasty (1616–1911 CE) and was inherited from a tea house.
The edges are elegantly designed to resemble bamboo, while the surface features intricately carved traditional Chinese motifs.
The wood exhibits a beautiful grain, making it a splendid choice for daily use in the art of incense appreciation.
