Joseon Dynasty Stone Medicine Grinder, Lee Dynasty Era (1392-1897CE)

This is a mortar carved from soapstone during the Joseon Dynasty. Its edges and corners have become rounded with long-term use. It has a charming rustic appearance and goes well with wildflowers and plants. It would be lovely to use it as a water basin.
