In contrast to colored pottery, which is painted with patterns before firing, this pot is patterned after firing. On earthenware, patterns such as clouds and beasts are drawn with paints such as red, gray, and blue. The painting is well preserved and worth seeing. Earthenware with replicas of metalware and lacquerware was often buried in graves during the Warring States period in northern China.
This is a very large jar-shaped vessel with a size of 61 cm, and the entire surface is covered with paintings. It has few frays and is in perfect shape.
