Yi Dynasty Antique Lacquer Box (Ham) Yi Dynasty Joseon Dynasty/1392-1897CE

This is a very beautiful box from the Yi Dynasty. Although it is small, boxes with a strong presence like this are rare. The inside is made up of a removable upper and lower section. The upper section is just over 3cm high, and the lower section is 8.3cm high. The upper section can hold tea utensils such as teacups, and the lower section can hold teapots and tea cloths. The well-worn lacquer gives it a tasteful appearance, inviting tea.
