Qing dynasty, a set of five flower-shaped tea saucers in antique pewter.

A small flower-shaped tea saucer with a slightly recessed center and a gently upturned outer rim. Measuring approximately 6.4 cm in diameter, it is quite compact and well suited to small gyokuro cups or petite white porcelain cups.

Unadorned, their rounded form and the quiet texture of the tin surface are the highlights. These tea saucers, intended for the small cups used in the sencha tea ceremony, are also well suited to small Chinese teacups. Each bears a mark on the reverse.

The tin surface shows age-related tarnish, scuffs, fine scratches, and discoloration. A compact, easily paired antique tin tea saucer.
