This is a two-handled jar from the Han Dynasty (206 BCE–220 CE), featuring an ash glaze. It is a type of ash-glazed pottery crafted to resemble bronze vessels. The jar is adorned with dual handles at the shoulder, and the mouth gracefully rises from the gently rounded body. Delicate inscriptions are carved into each handle and around the neck. The body is embellished with subtle ribbing, and the lower section exhibits a characteristic bulging often seen in Han Dynasty ash-glazed wares. Its convenient size makes it an excellent choice for use as a vase.
