This ceramic doll depicts a woman standing gracefully with her kimono hem lifted. Although it dates from the Meiji Period, it retains a significant amount of its original glaze, showcasing a captivating palette of colors. The base is covered with washi paper, presumably to seal a hole, though it is unclear whether this is a restoration. When lifted, it produces a gentle rattling sound. A signature mark is impressed on the left hem. Please refer to the accompanying photographs for further details.
