This exquisite set of five lobed-flower-shaped tea saucers, crafted from antique tin and marked with the Qianlong nian zhi, is a remarkable example from the Qing Dynasty. The elegantly rising lobed rim, reminiscent of a diamond shape, is adorned with a copper overlay, showcasing a dignified presence. The hue of the antique tin has developed a subdued luster over time, adding to its charm.

With an outer diameter of approximately 9.7 cm, including the broadest part, the design envelops the cup, giving it a more compact appearance than its measurements suggest. When paired with a gyokuro cup, the balance with the rim is harmonious, allowing for a perfect fit. This set is not only practical for daily tea ceremonies but also serves as a functional tool for transport when stored in a tea box.
