Kanaya Gorosaburo-zo Sand-lined brazier with rain dragon design and bat hand Edo/1603-1867CE

This is a sand brazier made by the master craftsman Gorosaburo Kanaya. "Suna-bari" is a general term for copper-based tin, silver, and lead alloys that have been widely used in China, Korea, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East since ancient times. This product is made of copper and silver, and has a deep, yellowish, astringent texture.

A rain dragon pattern is carved on the body surface, and two hands with bats are attached. It is in good condition and can be used as a bottle holder for a long time. The condition of the box is not very good.
