This large jar, crafted during the Gusuku period, represents earthenware produced across Okinawa's main island from the 12th to the 15th century.
It predates the Panari and Miyako-style ceramics, showcasing a soft, organic form that evokes a sense of human touch.
While there are repairs on the body, this rare piece retains its original shape, making it a remarkable example of its kind.
