This early Imari celadon incense burner was crafted in the early Edo Period in Arita, Hizen.
Its elegant form, influenced by Chinese celadon, features three feet at the base, lending it a dignified presence.
The piece exhibits natural irregularities and a textured glaze that enhance its aesthetic appeal.
In terms of condition, it is remarkably well-preserved for an early Imari piece. It comes with a wooden box.
