This is a Buddhist altar vase from the Ko-Seto tradition, dating to the Kamakura Period (1185–1333 CE). It features an iron glaze that has been skillfully applied, and its elongated neck is adorned with unglazed loop handles. The vase embodies the rustic charm characteristic of medieval kilns.
