Medieval stone oil lamp 12th-16th centuries

A stone oil lamp excavated in the Middle East. 11th to 14th century.

It has abstract floral patterns throughout and sculptures of facing figures on the sides. Unlike earthenware, oil lamps made of stone were considered valuable items because they were durable.

Over the centuries, the corners have become rounded, revealing the texture of the stone used. You can use it as an oil lamp without any problem, but please enjoy it as water droplets of calligraphy, flowers, etc.
