White Delftware was crafted as a container for ointments, yet its soft, creamy texture, reminiscent of yogurt, and its nuanced expressions embody a timeless beauty.

This is an 18th-century Delft cup, featuring an enchanting white glaze with a hint of blue. After filling it with water for about an hour, I found no leaks. I believe its size makes it suitable not only as a sake cup but also as a vase for flowers.
