This Bandaji from the Joseon Dynasty is a beautifully crafted wooden piece. Traditionally, a Bandaji served as a storage unit for various items such as clothing, books, and ritual vessels. The top surface was often used to hold jars or small objects, or to support bedding. Its enduring use over the years has imparted a rustic charm, reflecting the passage of time. It can also serve as a flower stand, enhancing the home decor with floral arrangements.

This particular piece was discovered in a corner of an antique folk art museum's storage. All the wood retains its original form from the Joseon period, showcasing a delightful presence that has been preserved in its entirety.
