Each piece is carefully packed for international delivery.
A set of five Qing-dynasty antique pewter tea saucers, lobed in a flower shape and stippled with floral and foliate motifs.
This tea saucer is formed in an elongated lobed shape; around the well and across the side surfaces it is decorated with stippled floral and foliate motifs. Fine dots and lines are combined to render the flowers and leaves in shallow relief.
At the center is a round raised rim to support the tea cup; the piece is thin and light in overall construction. Its size makes it well suited to sencha bowls or small white porcelain cups. Each underside bears its own mark.
The tin surface bears age-related darkening, wear, minor scratches, and discoloration. An antique tin tea saucer with a pleasing, well-worn character.
