This exquisite six-lobed foliate tray is a rare example from the late Yuan to early Ming Dynasty. It is remarkably well-preserved, showcasing a refined form that inherits the aesthetic qualities of the Song Dynasty. The center is adorned with black lacquer, while the surrounding areas are finished in vibrant red lacquer. The foot of the tray also features a six-lobed design, reflecting the meticulous craftsmanship evident throughout the piece.
