Each piece is carefully packed for international delivery.
Recently, Ban Chiang pottery has gained significant recognition in Japan. This particular piece features intricate incised designs that encircle the entire vessel, complemented by vibrant coloration. It exhibits a rare form characterized by a straight-sided body and an open rim. While the dating and evolution of this type of pottery remain somewhat ambiguous, it is believed that vessels adorned with such incised patterns were crafted during the early Ban Chiang period, around the first millennium BCE. Although there is a chip at the rim that has been restored, the piece retains its complete form.
