This bistro glass, practical in design, was used in 19th-century France. Despite its modest size, it possesses a distinct weight and thickness that eloquently convey the robustness expected of everyday utensils. The overall form is a shallow, flared cup, with a slightly outward-curving rim that seamlessly connects to the base, creating a sense of straightforward stability.

The glass is shaped using the blown glass technique, resulting in subtle irregularities and variations in thickness that lend the surface a unique undulation. The barely perceptible ridges gently caress the hand, and within the slight roughness and coolness, the density of the material and the traces of craftsmanship intertwine.
