Each piece is carefully packed for international delivery.
This small jar, crafted in the 14th century or later at the ancient kilns of Sawankhalok in Thailand, exemplifies the exquisite artistry of the period. Sawankhalok ceramics were highly prized in Japan, particularly during the Momoyama period through the early Edo period, where they were imported and cherished by tea masters as "Song Hu Lu" (宋胡録). This jar features a body of semi-porcelain adorned with a celadon glaze, showcasing a rustic beauty that harmonizes with its historical significance. It would serve beautifully as a small flower vase for a tea ceremony.
