This piece features a subtly trapezoidal shape that is characteristic of styles seen during the Ming to Qing dynasties.
The wood exhibits a rich, lustrous patina developed through years of use. There are no noticeable distortions, and the condition is impeccable.
Additionally, it is of an ideal size for accommodating tea utensils. Such shelves are often large, making this particular piece rare for its suitability as a tea shelf. The interplay of light and shadow through the openwork creates a striking visual presence.
