This short-necked jar from the Sanage kiln, dating to the Kamakura period (1185–1333 CE), showcases a captivating landscape of natural glaze (ash glaze) that gracefully drapes over its surface. Despite its modest size, it possesses a remarkable presence, enhanced by restoration work by yobitsugi (restoration technique).
