This is a white porcelain cup stand from the Ko-Imari tradition, dating from the late Edo to the Meiji period. The openwork design featuring motifs of the moon and clouds is particularly striking.
It would also be delightful to pair it with a lid, allowing it to be enjoyed as a incense container.
