This is a rare early hand-crafted Ko-Shigaraki jar, characterized by its excellent earthy texture. The firing process is unpretentious, and the base features a geta-style foot, reflecting the rustic charm of tools from a bygone era. One is inspired to place bamboo tubes or similar elements within it, inviting the enjoyment of branch arrangements.
